We're just a few chicks away from fulfilling my lifelong dream of re-creating a Busby Berkeley spectacle of dames.
Congratulations, ladies! I can't think of anyone, male or female, more deserving of the job.

I have a question. Does this mean I have to cover my penis from now on?
If so, does anybody have some velvet?

Why are there so many moderators/admins/supermods/etc.? I've always wondered that ever since over the past 1-2 years TFP has had a huge amount of staff implemented. I don't see that much flaming going on at TFP or disorderly conduct. And don't give the "you have no idea what mods go through" excuse because I check TFP 50 times a day (literally) and look at just about every section. With this many mods you'd think that we're at an IGN gaming forum or something where every topic is a flame fest. Look at the average thread on TFP that gets a few replies -- half the members that are active on TFP are now moderators. I can see TFP needing maybe 5 active moderators across the board...but 20+?

Too many moderators on the forum spoil the thread?
I would say no. It's best to have too many quality moderators than not enough. Congratulations, everyone.

I agree. These are quality folks, and some mods have left the building. Why are there so many mods/admins/super mods? There seems to be very little squabble.
Asked and answered. It makes this a good forum.

For a board this size, 20 is easily reasonable.
Each moderator isn't expected to be available online 24/7. Mods don't get paid to do this and the numbers keep the load from being too heavy on one specific Admin or moderator. This is part of what keeps TFP as one of the best forums I've seen out there.

Think of a moderator as a social lubricator rather than a policeman. We DON'T have flame wars here, but our job isn't just to put people in their place. Moderators are also here to lead the community by taking an active role in the development of discussion and content. We're increasing the number of active moderators because we have a new strategy to increase the quality of discussion here on the TFP, and it takes a little more of a hands-on approach than before. Not only that, but we are expecting an increase in traffic due to the recent technological improvements that we've implemented.

This fellow is more apt to listen to/regard/wish to please a female moderator. Besides, powerful and decisive women with agendas and goals and such are hawt. It means things will get done, and done well, and I have a supporting role while gathering rosebuds.

Yeah, I grew up with a bedroom that my mother had painted pink, with pink carpet. I have never hated a color more.
