Finding a home.
Hey guys, as most of you know I'm moving to Toronto this fall and I'm trying desperately to find a place.
What I'm looking for is either a bachelor, loft or 1 bedroom apartment, nothing more then 750 a month (hopefully). I need it to be fairly close to the main TTC lines. It doesn't have to be furnished, except for large appliances (Fridge/stove/etc). I don't need parking, I don't smoke, I have no pets. So if anyone knows anyone, or knows of anything, or has any advice, please let me know. I really don't know what I should be looking for, what to expect, how to deal with this, how to figure this out. Also: I've checked Craig's List, Veiwit.ca, and Kijiji. Nothing thus far. Thanks guys.

You might get a bachelor in a decent building for 750, but any one bed in a traditional apartment building you'd get for 750 won't be in the best neighbourhood. You might get a decent basement apartment in a house for 750, so you have some choices to make.
Here's a link to the Toronto Star classified section - they usually have some good listings. http://www.thestar.com/classifieds
