Well, thanks everyone.

I hate to say it but I didn't vote. I tried several times but honestly couldn't get any one category down to just one person. Seems to me several folks could have easily won each cat.

Again, thanks.

I'll get my list down to one each next vote.

I, like Tully Mars, couldn't make a decision and didn't vote. I could really only think of a candidate for a couple of the positions.

BUT.. congratulations to everyone chosen!

I had the same problem. I have to admit it came down to some coin flipping, but everyone who was chosen in the end was someone on my short list, the ones I was mentally chewing over.

Congrats to everyone this round.

You know... it's about how it felt like.

I was trying to do that and respond to some important personal emails that required me to print out an attachment, sign it, scan it, and email the signed scan back.

I was all set to do both things and bam! suddenly my PC wasn't working and I had to swap hard drives to another box.

The badges are all in place.

Of course, it would be great if everyone voted in all of the categories, but it's perfectly acceptable to vote in a few or even just one.

Just for future reference.

Have you guys looked into the Awards Showcase hack for vBulletin? A great example is shown here. Allows you to use various sized icons for display in profile or in threads (small in threads, obviously)... allows multiple awards to a user with a "reason" tag for each. Looks quite inobtrusive. I believe there is a version for vB 3.5.x

Something about that amuses the hell out of me.

Congradulations all winners.

I think some other catagories would be fun. Such as:

Something about journals. That would be fun.
Or avatars.
Photography?
One who makes you stop and think? (and I don't mean WTF?! although there are quite a few).
One that makes you laugh (and not because he/she is an idiot).
Best hair brained ideas that actually worked?
Maybe one for the biggest cry baby, too.
Or one for putting your foot in your mouth the most often.

But we're all picking the wrong place or getting the clues mixed up, directions wrong. It's all part of the fun, nobody takes themselves seriously. If they did then it wouldn't be any fun.

You should jump in. It's interesting the places people pick and, at times, the stories of why they pick them.

I live in a small, somewhat secluded country town. Small, 1/2 mile by 1 mile. Used to be 1/4 mile by 1 mile, but we annexed. Surrounded by hills, fields, trees, horses, cows, mud, creeks, and big trucks. I'm afraid that shows through a bit too much sometimes.

I moved here from a town of less then 200, so I know about small towns. When I was building my house I went into the towns video store, coffee shop and tanning bed store (think they also repaired sewing machines.) I asked about renting movies and the lady said you must be _____. Little unnerving at first.

But you have the net, so do what we all do and do the google earth thing.
