I can't choose between two.

One was from my semi-ex (we still see each other) boyfriend, who said that he'd wake up sometimes and spend hours gazing at me sleeping, in total awe that he was sleeping next to me every night.

The other was a few years back when I'd expressed to my folks that I always felt I'd been a disappointment to them. My mother told me that she was bursting with pride in what I've overcome and that she envied the relationships I have with my daughters.

My boss of 2 years has started to introduce me to his friends as "the smartest guy I know". He did it the other day to a guy with two PhDs to his name.

That makes me really proud, and really embarassed in equal measure.
