People you DISLIKE and WHY

Put your dislike list down here and say why you dislike them. (put one main reason down, dont go ranting)

just post your list and dont criticize others lists (unless you really really have to; what i mean is dont argue too much).

anyway, here's my list:

george w. bush - for his efforts to take down the wall of seperation
john ashcroft - for raping our civil liberties
clarence thomas - for being a complete idiot that doesnt know wtf he's doing. his actions makes him look like he's trying to get into the KKK
jesse jackson & al sharpton - for exploiting the black population. they're making african americans seem as 2nd class citizens.

Nowlookit 06-24-2003 08:14 AM

Hate is a strong emotion, and it has it's place.
Boy George Bush- Outright deception, for leading a war under false pretenses, purely for financial gain for him and those in the inner circle of the administration.
Dick Cheney- Same, more so because it is my beleif that he is the brains and brawn behind these machinations, Bush purely putting a "human", public support face on this schemata.
John Ashcroft- Raping the Bill of rights, ripping various freedoms away from citizens under the rubric of safety, via the "patriot act".
Gross misnomer.

geep 06-24-2003 08:16 AM

I don't hate anyone. Life's just too short, and hate takes way to much effort.

Macheath 06-24-2003 08:17 AM

John Howard - For making Australia feel like South Africa under apartheid.

Paul Wolfowitz - the lunatic fringe has finally seized the driver's seat of the foreign policy establishment and is careening down the highway with a bottle of bourbon in one hand and a beretta in the other.

John Ashcroft - Who doesn't?

Pacifier 06-24-2003 08:37 AM

Bush & the Gang for lying (<a href="http://www.heise.de/tp/english/inhalt/co/15062/1.html">Link</a>) to their people and getting away with it.

Aznar and Blair for beeing Bush' lap dogs

Lebell 06-24-2003 08:39 AM

I don't hate any individual. Hate is a self-destroying emotion.

I don't care for our government when it allows some of the things to take place that are currently ongoing. I hate the idea of a Congress that is so party oriented that it plays politics over the will and needs of the people. For example - The current BS over Judicial appointees - Get it over with. The President did what he is required to do by law. He submitted their appointments to Congress - Congress now needs to do its job and needs to continue to do its job in a much more timely manner. I don't give a damn how they vote - I just want them to stand up in the Senate and House and cast their votes - I want the vote polled - they should give the reason behind their vote and that's it - just do their damned job. Our government operates on a system of checks and balances - over the years a lax and lazy legislative branch has forfeited many of its powers to the executive branch. That is a done deal - those powers will never be relinquished. That is no reason for Congress to pout and try to hold the judicial branch hostage and blackmail the executive by refusing to exercises the powers they retain. Congress has total control over government with power of the purse strings - that is more than enough to provide and adequate balance.

As for John Ashcroft - My feelings are the same as those of you I normally disagree with - he is a joke! But his power is totally controlled by the other branches of government. I am hoping, and soon, that the president cuts him loose - he is in no way an asset and is most certainly a liability.

As for the "professionally black blacks" - they are no ones friend but their own bank accounts. It is easy to question why they are allowed to represent the black segment of our population - they have done far more harm than good and - how do you spell hypocrite?

Hate is a strong word, but there are a few people I can't stand.

James Carville - for just being a general ass.

Bill Clinton - for his pomposity and willingness to lie to the American people and pervert the justice system by acting as if perjury and obstruction are no big deal.

Dick Gephardt - for running as a pro-life candidate in his house district for a few terms and then changing his views in order to climb the ranks of the party. Also, for his recent statement that he would use Executive Orders to circumvent the Supreme Court.

Al Gore, John Kerry and the host of others who are quick to say something because it gets them press at the time and rallies whichever group to which they are speaking, even if it can be well documented that they have made statements on the Senate floor to the contrary.

Gov. Bob Holden (MO) - for being the first Governor in the history of MO to veto an entire budget sent to him by the legislature because it didn't include tax increases.

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson - As the author of this thread pointed out, they exploit the black population.

And of course, Terrorists and Tyrants around the world who think it's ok to murder innocent civilians to make a point. For those people I do have a truly burning hate.

They're rioting in Africa,
They're starving in Spain.
There's hurricanes in Florida,
And Texas needs rain
The whole world is festering
With unhappy souls.
The French hate the Germans,
The Germans hate the Poles;
Italians hate Yugoslavs,
South Africans hate the Dutch,
And I don't like anybody very much!

But we can be tranquil
And thankful and proud,
For man's been endowed
With a mushroom-shaped cloud.
And we know for certain
That some lovely day
Someone will set the spark off,
And we will all be blown away!

They're rioting in Africa,
There's strife in Iran.
What nature doesn't do to us
Will be done by our fellow man!

National Brotherhood Week

by Tom Leher

Oh, the white folks hate the black folks,
And the black folks hate the white folks.
To hate all but the right folks
Is an old established rule.

But during National Brotherhood Week, National Brotherhood Week,
Lena Horne and Sheriff Clarke are dancing cheek to cheek.
It's fun to eulogize
The people you despise,
As long as you don't let 'em in your school.

Oh, the poor folks hate the rich folks,
And the rich folks hate the poor folks.
All of my folks hate all of your folks,
It's American as apple pie.

But during National Brotherhood Week, National Brotherhood Week,
New Yorkers love the Puerto Ricans 'cause it's very chic.
Step up and shake the hand
Of someone you can't stand.
You can tolerate him if you try.

Oh, the Protestants hate the Catholics,
And the Catholics hate the Protestants,
And the Hindus hate the Moslems,
And everybody hates the Jews.

But during National Brotherhood Week, National Brotherhood Week,
It's National Everyone-smile-at-one-another-hood Week.
Be nice to people who
Are inferior to you.
It's only for a week, so have no fear.
Be grateful that it doesn't last all year!

MSD 06-26-2003 09:11 PM

Anyone who treats partisan politics and the goals of their party as more important than the well-being and will of tthe people.

Anyone who holds bigoted views that prevent the world from coming closer together instead of falling apart.

Both sides have people guilty of these, and both sides should remove those people and replace them with people who can get work done.

I agree with everyone who is opposed to real hate. To me it is an emotion that is more destructive to the individual, serving no rational purpose. Most people I have known in life who expressed that they hated other people were miserable people in their personel life.

lurkette 06-27-2003 08:33 AM

I don't really like to dislike people, but sometimes it can't be helped.

People who are ignorant
People who turn their brains off and don't question authority.
People who are mean and rude.
People who are arrogant
People who are only concerned about their own lives and don't give a shit about anybody else

Now, to the specifics:
George W. Bush. He is arrogant, narrow-minded, has a dangerously simplistic view of the world, and is mean-spirited.

Tom Cruise. I don't know why. I just really don't like him.

Bill O'Reilly. He's divisive and abrasive.

Michael Moore: He's shooting liberalism in the foot.

My aunt Jeannie: She mistreats her children and has a wacked out view of reality. She's mentally ill so I don't know to what extent she can be held responsible for her actions, but she also doesn't get help.

My insurance company. They're idiots. All of them.

Atropos4 06-27-2003 11:25 AM

Hate is a strong word that gets thrown around too much in today's society.

Hate (N)
The emotion of hate; a feeling of dislike so strong that it demands action

So, if you really do "hate" what do you plan on doing about it? Besides giving yourselves ulcers and headaches?

The people that I truly reserve venomous hatred for are people who none of you would know. People who are known to us all who greatly annoy me include -

Geraldo Rivera - for...well....being Geraldo Rivera.

Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton - for continually generating unnecessary publicity by calling kettles black. And for being generally annoying.

The RIAA and all of the major labels - for replacing musical integrity and true musicianship with prefabricated teen crap.

Any telemarketer or spammer who knows that they are annoying the shit out of people and gleefully does it anyway.

The filthy evil pricks who thought of reality television.

Ken Lay and any of his ilk who profited from the fleecing of the retirements of hard working people. Some people should just be skinned alive.

whiners
inconsiderate people
rude people. not accidental rudeness, but complete disregard for others...kinda goes back to inconsiderate to an extent..

crupdawg 07-24-2003 12:23 PM

i hate democrats.

let me clarify. i hate how people are so eager to jump on the bandwagon by saying that bush lied to the american public and thrust our country into war for personal gain. i hate how they contend that saddam was never the threat that bush made him out to be, even though clinton himself declared just how dangerous saddam was in a speech made on december 16, 1998 (http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/stori...s/clinton.html). i hate how democrats hate the republican party just for the sake of hating them, because THAT is what is truely wrong with our country. partisan politics are taking up way too much of our time. anything i hear an overly democratic presidential hopeful say in the past couple of weeks i just chalk it up to him scoring points for the upcoming elections. they are all idiots. hating for hatings sake it moronic. this being said, i hate your sig quote, The_Dude. ;)

btw, it is obvious that, yes, i am republican, but i dont continue to bring up clinton's mistakes and i do acknowledge bush's mistakes. he is dealing with out economy HORRIBLY. however, i agreed with his decision to go to war with Iraq. bush will not spell the end of the welfare of the United States, i assure you that. and to be completely honest, i do feel a whole lot better now that saddam is out of power

1. the "Burger King" generation (waa, waa, I want it my way!)
2. lawyers (call me, I know who to sue!)
3. car ads on TV (get the car you deserve, call now!)
4. politicians (making promises they can't keep..)
5. inattenative drivers

Mr Scorcex 07-25-2003 08:04 AM

I hate people who perform thoughtless damage and theft of other people's property, like the people who broke into my church and others who broke into my work, and the people that egged my car.
I also hate Hitler. That's about it for people I hate. There are more I mildly dislike, but thats a much longer list.

They get to hide in mommy and daddy’s basement beating off to pictures of the Olsen twins but not pictures of them now… I’m talking Full House age Olsen twins and say whatever they want without any sort of direct threat to their health and family. They get to be loud and flamboyant to fulfill the lack of attention that the normal world pays to them because they shower once a week during that 15 minute break from “EverQuest” they have to take to take the trash out and pick up the crusted Kleenex that’s littering the room. I hate these people more then I hate hippies and Jesus fucking Christ do I hate hippies.

It’s all Love and happiness. Where the fuck do you live… and cut your fucking hair? You wanna give me a hug and preach about peace…? You better put down that pipe for a few seconds and join me in the real world where we actually have to face our pain instead of just putting on a Greatful Dead album, popping some pills or shrooms and saying, “It’s all good, man.” No… No, it’s not. Thanks for playing, try again tomorrow, fuck stick.

Sorry.

I dislike everyone until I get to know them. Then I hate most of them.

Most. I'm not a total asshole, afterall.

Best rant ever. :)

It's pretty hard to hate someone you don't know personally, but it's definitely annoying that these faceless cowards can get away with being jerks. Maybe karma will catch up on them. One can only hope that they get what's coming to them.

I hate the people who aren't willing to let me help them...
I hate the people who engage in stupid self destructive activities and lifestyles...
I hate the people who take their suffering as a license to try and hurt me...
I hate people who wear their suffering as a badge of honor...
fu**em I try...

let me clarify. i hate how people are so eager to jump on the bandwagon by saying that bush lied to the american public and thrust our country into war for personal gain.

Kind of like how people hate Clinton for lieing about cheating on his wife. Right?

i hate how they contend that saddam was never the threat that bush made him out to be, even though clinton himself declared just how dangerous saddam was in a speech made on december 16, 1998 (http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/stori...s/clinton.html).
Bush said Saddam had Nukes from Africa and a bunch of other stuff that he really didn't have. Yes, even the democrats think Saddam is a bad guy which is why they all, but 1 voted to go to war. Now with the new facts, democrats are pissed that our president got busted for lying about cheating on his wife, something that just about every man here would also do if he was caught cheating on his wife, while the current president lied to us and got us into a war because of those lies. Whether or not saddam deserved it or not is not the issue.

i hate how democrats hate the republican party just for the sake of hating them, because THAT is what is truely wrong with our country. partisan politics are taking up way too much of our time. anything i hear an overly democratic presidential hopeful say in the past couple of weeks i just chalk it up to him scoring points for the upcoming elections. they are all idiots. hating for hatings sake it moronic.
Kind of like how you hate democrats for the sake of being democrats? Or kind of like everything the president does he does to get re-elected also? Flight suit ring a bell?

this being said, i hate your sig quote, The_Dude. ;)

btw, it is obvious that, yes, i am republican, but i dont continue to bring up clinton's mistakes and i do acknowledge bush's mistakes. he is dealing with out economy HORRIBLY. however, i agreed with his decision to go to war with Iraq. bush will not spell the end of the welfare of the United States, i assure you that. and to be completely honest, i do feel a whole lot better now that saddam is out of power
I agree with what you say here but we could have gotten to this point without so many problems.

I dislike Tom Crusie - after all you would have to be a complete idiot to leave Nicole Kidman.

Nick: Becuase its no fun to argue with him
[GuywhoShanaLikes]: Becuase he is fucking blind, I dont want to get with Shana. But she is great, fun, cute as hell, and nice. Why isnt he jumping on that opertunity?
Matt: Because he is a hopeless romantic and every girl with the exception of one has been interested in him that I have ever met and he is interested in the one girl he cant have.
Mike: Hes thinking too far ahead for how old he is. Its a shame.

I think thats my list. I dont hate people I dont know, its stupid
