Thread jacks can be circularly constructive at times..
kinda how my brain works when I am laying in bed at night trying to fall
asleep and one thought will lead to another until I reach a point of asking
myself, how did I start out thinking about sunflower seeds and end up
with where does the dalai lama buy his eyeglasses?

I really don't mind them much if they are not mean spirited,
hiding behind a feeble masquerade of passive-aggressiveness.

Sometimes when a thread has a flat tire on the side of the road, a good threadjack can really save your ass, provided you've got a threadspare in your threadtrunk.

Sunflower seeds? Were you watching baseball? I find sunflower seeds to be the thinking man's chewing tobacco.

I was thinking it's only a matter of time till we get a new user called threadjack. Heh.

No, now seriously, as Wilde would have it...some threadjacks are just noise to me

You can tell who doesn't want their thread jacked when they add a line to the last paragraph that says:

Don't let this become a/an
attack on Muslims
debate on helmet laws
abortion pissing contest
holy war
race riot
That being said, if the fucker cooking the meat knows what he is doing, it doesn't matter if he uses charcoal or gas.

It depends on whether or not the threadjacker is an idiot.

By definition (see post #47) I am hereby decalring myself incapable of hijacking a thread.

Andwhile we're on the subject, at what point did it become apparent to you that the aliens in X-files were real, and did that ruin your interest in the show?

my interest in the show was ruined long before that. i think it simply ran for too long. add to that the whole "thing" between mulder and scully just got old after a while

How could they possibly stay focussed when they get a little anal with a thread jack. Those threads would be jacking off topic all the time.

I love jacking off, and quite like the idea of getting anal with a threaded jack (hammer).
