Yah there is having an adventure together with money and there is trying to buy love. The later never works. I knew a guy who bought his girlfriend a 3k ring as an anniversary gift. It was such a boring way to spend money. All it created was resentment in the end.

True, it's kinda hard to explain the "good" way to spend money. I think the best way I can put it is to spend money on "us" rather then on "her/him".

Ktspktsp asked me out on one lunch date before we officially hooked up (less than a week later), and we split that lunch bill. So it can be said that he never spent a dime trying to "woo" me... I went quite willingly on my own. We have been having legitimate pussy and dick ever since then, hehe... and we still take turns buying the other person dinner, gifts, etc. :D
