Your Favorite Word(s)
I usually don't care much for "What's your Fave" style threads
However, I love words and I wonder what some of your favorite words are Based on how they sound one of my favorites:Medulla Oblongotta just like how it rrrrrrrolls off of my tongue. Too bad I don't get a chance to work it in in everyday conversations. Whats yours?

Ignore me...I'm amused by small things. As far as a favorite word...I really dunno...language is full of meaningful words, strange words, interesting words and, let's face it, words that are just flat out fun to say.

I dont know why, but I've always been fond of:
astronomical. asˇtroˇnomˇiˇcal ( P ) Pronunciation Key (str-nm-kl) also asˇtroˇnomˇic (-nmk) adj. 1-Of or relating to astronomy. 2-Of enormous magnitude; immense: an astronomical increase in the deficit. Mainly #2...

Callipygian is a good one.
Crapulent - suffering the consequences of overindulgence in food and or drink. Defenestrate - To throw out of a window. Mellifluous Onomatopoeia Zarf (a metal or ceramic holder for a glass or paper drinking vessal for a hot beverage. From Turkish.) Aglet - the tape around each end of a shoelace. My favortie words based on meaning, though, are: Pentasyllabic, because it is, and Hipposesquipedalian, for the same reason.
