These weird dreams just keep coming...
Are you one of those people that have weird dreams all the time? Or mabey you never remember your dreams... I get 'em, and they happen quite a bit.
I dream about my teeth falling out alot. It's supposed to be not-good and to do with stress and things that are fucking up your universe. I sometimes dream about them snapping off, which apparently is really bad... I have died in my dreams a lot of times (mostly car accidents, but sometimes snakebite) which for some strange reason makes me wake up relaxed and content... but they are so realistic i believe i (probably naively) know what it's like to actually be in a serious accident. I also know how painful a snakebite is... it's very strange. The dying thing hasn't happened for a while, but the teeth falling out thing happened a few weeks ago, but apart from that lately it's been the usual 'run but don't get anywhere' and 'punching someone but mot hurting them' dreams... I'm always interested in other's dreams. What sort of weird dreams do all you good people have?

I used to have a recurring dream when I was young. I can't quite articulate what it was about, but there was a sense of movement which sped up until it was out of control. I'd wake up shaking and upset. Happened a couple times a month for a while.
The last one I remember, I was climbing a ladder faster and faster and faster. This was the clearest dream of its type I'd ever had, and there was a feeling that I finally understood what this movement was--it was ladder climbing. It got faster and faster and I got out of control, but this time I wasn't afraid. When I woke up, I felt peaceful and calm. Never had that dream again. |

I used to have dreams where I was in the house where I grew up and someone was trying to get in, and I had to lock all the doors, only the back door wouldn't quite lock (which was true in real life). I'd always try to scream "help" but it would just come out like a tiny little sigh. I'd always wake up in a panic. Then once I actually SCREAMED in the dream, and in real life, and that was the end of that dream.
I also have dreams about leaving my palm pilot case somewhere. It has EVERYTHING in it - credit cards, money, library card, driver's license, not to mention my palm pilot. I dream I leave it somewhere (which I tended to do in real life before I broke down and started carrying a fucking purse. Why don't women's clothes have better pockets???) and when I find it it's empty, and I just feel so deflated and sad. Why can't I have GOOD recurring dreams, like eating chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, naked, in a tropical lagoon?

I sometimes have dreams of ex's yelling at me for crazy-ass made-up inadequacies. It's very odd though, because I get along fine with my ex's.

that's your subconscious telling you that on a daily basis, you're not getting yelled at nearly enough
So far I've dreamed about flying all over my town on my own. About 20 times or so. Showing up naked in school about 10 times I guess. Dieing a few times, killing a few people. Then from time to time, a dream I could make into a novel really, which I've tried a few times, but after a couple of pages I usually give up. And then from time to time the real braincracker where I live in a garage under an officeblock in a post-apocalyptic world. I live there with a few people in the worst conditions, and from time to time people from my close group disappear and I feel more scared and sad every time, until the point where I guess I just wake up because I've had enough. That one usually gives me a migraine for about a week too. Fun stuff, dreams. Really. |

I have a dream that has been recurring for years and years...I would say I have it every few months or so.
It involves being back in college, and it's usually an English class. Somehow, in the dream, I sort of forget about the class part way through the semester. Then it's finals time and all of a sudden I realize that I haven't been to class in months, nor have I read any of the books. So I desperately try to read over the last day or so before the test but I know that I can never catch up. Then I show up for the test and I read the questions and I have no idea what any of them are asking about. I end up walking out.........and the dream ends. |

My dreams? Full color, all senses that I have now. Mine are always whacky. I can never fly tho.. I'll have memories of flying, and while dreaming i can "remember visually" of me flying, but then when i try to.. i just fall.. hehehe. Sometimes I'm fighting in a war, sometimes I'm dreaming in my dream in my dream.. those are weird. Death? Oh yeah I get those occassionaly, but they never bother me, which shows in my dreams. I"m not afraid of death, funny thing about these dreams tho, I always have ended up in heaven. One unique thing about my dreams? I can always swim effortlessly. I can swim better than I can walk. And whats more, I can breathe underwater. There hasn't been a dream where I'd be underwater where I'd have trouble breathing. Thats fun Just the other day I dreamt of me waking up and getting ready for work, only for someone to awake me up and tell me that i only had a few minutes to get ready for work before I'd risk being late.. I hate those. More to come later

I get a lot of dreams where I'm in video games. Mostly rpg's or fps's...prolly cause thats about all i play. Every once in awhile they'll be lucid too, where i can control what goes on to an extent. The last one i remember was virtua fighter 4 where i was in a never ending fighting tournament. I was doing all kinds of kickass matrix shit. Other ones that i remember off the top of my head are gta3, red faction, medal of honor frontline, and metroid prime. The best one of these was when i dreamed i was in grand theft auto....good times.

This was a lot creepier though, for me anyways. I was in some kind of horror game with two others and we were walking down a corridor, a corridor we had walked down lots and lots of times before. This wasn't the first time the game was played and I was one of the main characters. Anyways, we knew that in a closet in this corridor a zombie would come out and try to kill us, so I turned to another one of the characters and said to her that she could trigger the zombie this time... However when she got to the closet, noone was there... We continued down the corridor and into a bedroom. There we knew a monster was supposed to come from under the bed, so I went in there, but nothing came. So now we were in there, knew that we had to kill the monsters to continue, but we had no idea where they were... And they had been in the same place hundreds of times before. So we all got very paranoid and I started to get scared as hell... Then I woke up. But the paranoia didn't dissappear even though I was awake. I was really scared for about 10 minutes until the phone rang and I finally snapped out of it. |

I just recently had a dream where i kept waking up from the dream, but i was still dreaming. I fell asleep while i was babysitting my niece and i had some generic dream....then i woke up from that but i was still dreaming. In my "awake" dream, my niece had invited over some of her friends and they had torn the living room up. Then I woke up from this one...but again, i was still dreaming, and then my niece was running all around the house and she wouldn't stop...she started throwing things everywhere. In this one, i even pinched myself to make sure i wasn't dreaming (it wasn't until i finally woke up that i realized you're supposed to have someone else pinch you). I "woke up" two more times after that and each scenario was the house getting torn apart and my niece doing all kinds of crazy stuff. Then I finally woke up for real and the house was perfectly fine and my niece was sitting in her chair reading a book....it was weird.

When I was little, and sick, I would have a recurring dream. It was in black and white, and involved (I think) Lines like on a pulse measuerer, when they were squiggly it felt really uncomfortable, but when they were straight it felt smooth and nice.

I have a recurring dream although not lately. It spans years of my life. I usually start out running in a field. The runnig becomes glidding close to the ground. Then up to the tree tops. From there to just over tall buildings. Over the years I have learned to control the dream...as long as I stay below the clouds. Once I get above the clouds, all hell breaks loose. My speed increases. I have looked back at the earth and watched it grow smaller. I watched the moon rush by. I never know what happens after warp speed because by then I am so frightened that I will myself awake.... If I stay below the clouds ...all is fine. I once grabbed some leaves off the top of a tree so I could prove to myself that it really happened. When I woke I swear I watch them dissolve in my hands!

So strange to find this thread today.
Last night I dreamt that my father and I were at the hunting camp putting up some fence and doing a little planting near one of the stands when he fell over stone dead from a heart attack, it was so damn vivid that i started awake. My father passed the day that my unit mobilized for Op Enduring freedom, the heart attack he had in hunting camp the week before was the ultimate cause, but it didn't happen that way. Just too weird.

I had a dream where a girl I had a crush on had built a 2 story tall electric mixer in a basement (apparently a very large basement). I asked if it was a weapon of mass destruction and she then explained its real purpose which to me in the dream made perfect since but it eludes me now.
I wish I knew what the hell that dream ment if it has a meaning.

They had wounds on em, and they were really damn scary. They had a lot of guns and stuff and I don't know what I did, but they were out to fucking get me man. I wwas running from em in my Jeep. I don't even own a Jeep. That shit was freaky indeed.

Last weird dream for me....
I was living in a palatial mansion with at least 20 other people (guys and gals) suddenly I knew there was war coming and started to help folks out and hide. I hid out in the basement and realized that I was speaking German. I ran out the front to hide in the underbrush and watched a lot of my roomies (now clad in fatigues with guns) get killed by a large group of guys and one giant (he was at least two stories tall) I shot at the giant; he picked me up; I stabbed him in the eye and ran my gun through his head. I then made my way up a steep hill and into an enemy camp; I found a few of my roomies and began plotting to get away and search for ?something? I have no idea what the ?something? is and I'm still speaking German, even though I only know a few phrases in real life. All this made perfect sense in the dream. The dream before that I was racing a pirate ship and being chased across the high seas by SWAT guys in cop cars (yes, CARS running their blues across the sea) I kept firing cannons at them and cursing them in pirate brogue to no avail
