Yes, my favourite holiday of the year is here, Midsummer. Although it isn't celebrated in many places in the world it is by far the best. No pressure, no presents, no stress, nothing of the things that make other holidays suck. Midsummer is a holiday that is about getting out in nature, meeting your friends and having a drink, go skinnydipping, celebrating the good time that is summer and maybe find a nice girl to take a walk in the woods with. No religon, no commercialisation, none of that bullshit.

Some say it's an old pagan ritual to celebrate the fertilitzation of the earth and that seems likly if you look at the tradition here in Sweden where we put something called a midsummerpole in the ground, note the "balls".

So, don't forget to stock up on vodka, friends and food because on friday it's midsummereve.
