Some day I'm going to be famous! So keep an eye on my stuff in the Tilted Lit threads, most of those are song lyrics. And when I become famous, you can say you all knew my when I was just a lil' spammer. :P

Maybe celebs don't do a lot on online forums because their could certainly become flame material. Maybe.

Dec. 2000 This post was placed in the newsgroup for drummers called rec.music.makers.percussion.

"From: (Tommy Lee)
Newsgroups: rec.music.makers.percussion
Subject: I'm here guys - fire away!

I'LL BE GLAD TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE PERTAINING TO DRUMMING
HERE ON THE NEWSGROUP. NO EMAILS PLEASE AND NO PERSONAL CRAZY
QUESTIONS. GLAD TO SEE MY NAME BEING BATTED AROUND. CHOW! T-BONE"

Now I don't hold an opinion on if this was really Tommy L., but the flame wars that followed this message were many and varied.

If I were him and had posted once, and read the shit that followed, I'd never post again.

OK, you're no longer an MTV employee and it's been a while. Was this true? Is it still? Is it me? Oh, please say it was me!

I'm a member of an Orioles board that has Roy Firestone as a member. And yes, the "You aren't gonna make me cry Roy!" references do occasionally get old

I would like to see Dr. Drew Pinsky post here.

My wife and I used to watch Love Line. He was always talking about how this or that was dangerous, wrong or indicative of some other issue. My wife and I would either say, wow, we dig that or we need to try that.

I'd also like to buy his wife a dildo.

Seeing as how alot of people here aren't necessarily from the US, I doubt they would care very much.

In fact, I've hardly heard of most the names that have been thrown around here so far.

Some of them I suppose if I googled them I'd go: oh right, *that* guy. But that's about as much reaction they would/should get in my opinion.
Then again, I'm not one for the whole celebrity culture.
