Pick a word.
I want everyone to think of just one word in the English Language that they could use to describe the epitome of what you feel to be your best feature; a word describing what you would be remembered for. After choosing your word explain why you chose it. ( this could be interesting )
Sacrifice; I chose this word because I'd be willing to sacrifice myself for a belief or a cause that I strongly believed in. I'm not a martyr, but I would give myself or anything I had to protect someone I cared for. I also chose this word because I would find it very hard for me to sacrifice certain things; not objects or desires, more so ambitions and beliefs. So TFP lets see what you can come up with. |
"Unabashed" would be my word.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/unabashed I don't claim to be simple or easy to understand, but I think I have a lot less interest in disguising who I am or being ashamed of who I am than most. |
I am "liminal". I have always been a member of different groups and social circles, but often on the edge of them; I can't say I'm really at the core of any group. And, I am in transition from one career to a very different career.

Tenacious.
At some point in time, I get what I want....I'm also capable of beating a dead horse. |
Loyal
Whether friend, family, whatever, when someone is close to me, I will stick by and do anything for them and it will take a hell of a lot to push me away. |
Supercilious.

Enthusiast.
That would be me, in high form. When I get excited about something, look out. This characteristic has earned me "Most Inspirational" and such awards in the past, but at the same time, it's almost scary how quickly I spring into action and remain in motion. Once I am signed up for something I love, there is just no end in sight. In average or low form? Well, that entails a whole other vocabulary. |
Flibbertigibbet. It means silly person, and from what I’ve read in most instances it refers to women. I found it in a rhyming dictionary. It doesn’t really describe me at all, especially since I’m not a woman; I just like the word so goddamn much (that and crux, but I don’t get to use crux much). Personally, I think the crux of the matter is that with over 500,000 words in the English language it seems so sad to limit yourself to just one.
