How do you see TFP?
So for the last couple of years everytime I log onto TFP my default view has been TFP green. Maybe out of habit or just laziness, I don't know that is just what it's been - until yesterday. I was outside on my rooftop and couldn't see because of the glare and so I changed the view to I-Bulletin. Well that got me thinking:
What is your default view TFP and what features of that view do you like?

TFP Green... any other version just gives me a headache and makes me nauseous.
It's like wearing someone else's clothes. It's just not right.

See, I thought to create this exact thread because some other members were complaining that that they couldn't see the colored fonts of others because of the template that they were using.
I myself use the TFP Green because it is simple, effective, and makes the most of what is available(in terms of space). It is the clean look of it all.

Insignia on one pc, VBulletin 3(white) on another. I don't like the green one and these two are more subtle, passing family members can't see what forum I'm in

That is queer... the poll went from a public one to one where the votes are not shown...

fromBasics Dark. I much prefer a dark background with a light(er) foreground. This is a bit more terminal like to me. *shrug*

When I first came to TFP I used TFP Green for the simple reason that it was the default - it didn't occur to me to change it. I've tried some of the other themes since, but I keep coming back to TFP Green. That's just what I associate with this forum now, to the extent that the different colour schemes just don't feel right. Charlatan nailed it - it's like wearing another person's clothes.

Back when I used to TFP from work and had a really sucky monitor, I had to use a light-backgrounded version in order to see anything. Using my nice iMac from home, TFP Green seems to work the best for me.

TFP green was a little hard on my eyes. If I ever opened another browser window, the brightness would bug my eyes. I was glad when I saw that I could switch. I use insigia. I occastionally use vBulletin-3, but I love the colors of Insignia.

TFP green. For a short time I tried the other styles, but as Char. noted, it just didn't feel right.

VB3 because it blends in with my Windows colour scheme at work, allowing me to keep it open without attracting attention.

I use 2e_Forest. With a widescreen laptop it's hard for me when everything is so spread out and my resolution being 1440 x 900, it's just too much work to take everything in with some of the other darker and full width themes. Though from time to time when I clear my cache I use vb3, but only for quick visits to check on what's going on.

Green for me. I can't remember how long ago it was, but the first time I saw an anouncement that there were some new choices, I tried them for the novelty.
I don't know if it was my sucky eyes that have "floaters" when looking at anything light/white or familiarity, but I couldn't handle anything but good 'ol Green. And so it stays... Ali

Green is too dark and murky for my tastes. I prefer to the default vB layout over anything else that's offered.

I like my I-Bulletin white. Crisp, clean and simple. The darker ones kinda make me feel gloomy.

I guess I must be looking at TFP green since I never changed anything about the default setup. I'm happy with it, it looks quite different than the several other forums I check out every day so I have that "special TFP" feeling looking at it; a couple of my other forums are vBulletin so I wouldn't want this to be the same old thing. And I remember hearing that green was more soothing to the eyes, no idea if that's true or not but it seems to be OK.
