Striking, Foreboding, and true to life.

This video is hillarious but also hits home for me, I hear myself in the drama and it makes me want to thank my parents tremendously. This is just sad that so many people are addicted to online games. I was, and in some ways, still am, addicted to online games. My wow account has been inactive for some time now and I still think about going back. It's amazing how addictive they can be. But if you find it funny, like I did, have fun, be merry and laugh away! laugh and discuss:

I'm probably just going to keep typing until I run out of things to babble about and see how many people actually read this. I once ran down a hill, fell down and hurt my elbow; my mom said I would be ok, she kissed it and made it all better. I've run out of things to say now, so if you have read this whole thing, congratulations you get a gold star! |

I don't think this is a good example of WOW addiction. This is just a kid having a fit because he can't play with his friends. The kid does sound a little old to be throwing a fit like that but I don't think it's right to blame WOW. I know I've had a few altercations with my parents because they wouldn't let me do something I had already set my mind on doing. I'm not sayin he's not addicted to the game, It's just that I've seen crap go down like that over the dumbest things.
I used to be pretty addicted to WOW. I pretty much stayed on the game 16 hours a day then I hada pretty good job just handed to me so I quit the game for a year. The job went under and when I came back to WOW I just didn't have the need to play it as much. I don't choose wow over outside activities anymore (unless it was like 140degrees in the shade) and I have no problem skipping or being late for a raid because I was eating dinner. As far as the video is concerned.. I think it's funny as hell.

That hit too close to home. Every night of the week, I have to tell my son repeatedly to get off the computer. He's supposed to be off at 10:30 on school nights, he knows this and never has kept to it. I have had to reach for the power button to get him to log off. When he was into the online games, it was damned close to that audio, with him saying how he's at such and such a point and can't quit now, yadayada....and it'd end up with me taking away his computer time entirely, which of course, would start more arguments...

1. I used to play WoW. It was great and that interchange was thankfully never part of my guild's raids.
2. My ex still plays WoW. If you listen to that, drop the sobbing, and replace the frantic shrieking of "MOM!!!!! DAD!!!!" with "&*#$&*^&!!!" you'll have an idea of what it sounded like at my house for months. Dinner at 7? No sir! Dinner at whenever the hell he was going to get off that computer! Hang out with friends tonight? Nope... he has to kill a pixellated dragon and get a cloak, and heaven help me if he doesn't get it because I'll hear about it for WEEKS. I would say I'm not bitter, but I don't want to lie to you fine folks. I'm still bitter and irritated by it. That particular exchange just reminded me of how much I enjoy the peace around here.
