Not only do I have an active layout in my basement, but Max's second words were "choo choo". It's what we do when he's a pain between the last nap and dinner.

I'm currently running an O Gauge with a Pennsy set on a double figure 8.

I was into Lionel trains in a big way a few years ago. I had all old stuff from about 1965 back. Seems most folks are into command control and electronics now.

My dad is a big-time model railroader, but he is very serious about it, and generally Lionel is not regarded as a good product to serious modelers. I've been helping my dad with his models and going to model railroad shows since I was a tiny tot. When I was a young girl, he had an HO layout that took up an entire room of our home. Now he is slowly taking over a room in their new house with an N gauge set.

The closest I get to model railroading these days is building train layouts out of Brio.

I've got a set of Marklin stuff that I acquired a few years ago. One day I'll figure out how to make all the junctions and switches work (I can make the train go around, but that's about it). Small children means it is currently packed in multiple boxes in my shed.

I have several from my youth but no current place to put them up. I have been meaning to do an N-Track module some day.
