wow.. I didn't see this thead until I saw a post about it in the ladies forum..> Which i personally Love. Why? Damn, its useful to learn from. The drinking Pineapple Juice tip was good in and of itself!:) its great as we can learn about them, not just their personality, but ABOUT them.

As people have said, Women can be hard to find on here, and a womans section where only women can post is one helluva offer to get them in the community. I don't see the use of the men's forum.. I believe someone asked about this before, and i remember the replies of.. "Because we WANT the women with us!" with that... 'nuff said, or so I would hope to think.

Oh one last point. Generally speaking, women are known to bond by talking, guys aren't. Thus we wouldn't really bond there, but for women, its a great thing. But see, if they were to bond in the presence of men.. then explain to me why in real life (at least while you're in school) there's that term of "The Backroom" where girls tell each other everything, guys don't have that, cause we don't care who hears what if we're gonna say it. The ladies lounge is kinda like their backroom, sure we can read it, but they don't have to worry about immature guys jumping in and saying, "OOOOH YOU LIKE THAT TOY!! I'd Love to get In on you doing that!" I mean honestly, that won't help a thing, but I know someone would do something similar if they could. I'm not saying all guys are like this, but someone would be bound to make that mistake, and that would make me want to hit them.

Yeah they are out to get us... but we're out to get them. (mind you obviously I was speaking in a positive tone about it) Oh and uh, We play games too. Ever notice how a guy will just piss a girl off for the fun of it? Yeah that sure gets to them, and we do it on purpose. Well, when I first read this thread I wanted to say what my feeling were on the subject.... but I didn't, I didn't want to upset any of the fine women we here at the TFP, but Damn! I can't but agree that the women of today are twisted..... You know, I'm a nice guy.... and that in itself is a curse, A terribile curse that in another time would be a fine thing....... but today being a 'nice guy' just means you're a fool. Being 'nice' means one of two things to women...... either you're a freak or somethings wrong with you....... I put the blame on women for one reason, The simple fact that women have the power to choose who they want, and even if that person turns out to be a asshole it doesen't matter...... "I can change him" is the excuse...... or "But I love him" When it comes down to it, women have screwed everything up by allowing the asshole men to be their first choice.......

Emagine this....... Every women in the Intercontinental United States says "fuck You" to the assholes, all of a sudden all of the assholes couldn't get laid no matter what...... guess what would happen? Either the assholes would learn not to be assholes ...... or the "nice guys" would for for once in their lives find girls that they have been looking for all thier lives...... And maybe, just maybe...... those women would learn that the "nice guy" is the type of guy that would love and spoil them....... never cheat on them, and be there for them no matter what............

I don't think so. It's a good place to do homework, study the current version of female thinking (*till the next Beta release is out and dissiminated :)*), and to learn things that I never knew before.

Is it just me or does it seem that most of the people in this thread view men as shallow blabbering testosterone filled horn dogs that sit around and scratch…

Personally, I’m surprised. For another guy to say that we aren’t that deep is just a sad generalization and it shows how we think of ourselves. Yes, we have our moments and our quirks but so does everyone including women. I enjoy watching sports, talking about the “chick” I saw last night and scratching my balls just as much as the next guy. However, to say that’s all we do is degrading to ourselves; let’s give ourselves more credit here guys. Also, I’m not pushing for a men’s only forum because we don’t need it, we have the other boards. But to say if we had a “men’s lounge” that it would be filled with just crappy threads because we’re shallow is for lack of a better word, stupid. Look at the posts of the guys all across the forum from General Discussion to Titled Politics to Tilted Literature to Titled Artwork and etc. Men aren’t just testosterone filled braggarts that put all our focus into sex. We’re artists, poets, inventors, writers, lawyers, doctors and more.

Entering this thread I expected to see, well I don’t know what I expected to se after reading the title, but I didn’t expect to male or female bashing. (Okay, maybe a little female bashing…)

Goaterizer had a rough time starting his thread. He didn’t express himself in words as well as he could have. That’s no reason to say he’s sex deprived. Sex isn’t the wonder drug that makes men think clearer people. And it most certainly doesn’t make men talk about women in a "positive only light" whenever we “get some”. This thread was a rant after all.

Anyway, my problem with women has already mentioned by a few people. It’s once again the games (Yes, men play games too). Also, I don’t like the fact that some females ask me to express myself more and talk to them when they themselves won’t do the same.

I'm not one pushing for a men's lounge, but if there was truly a desire for one, then here are some sample topics on what I'd like to see in it:

Dressing, how do you make the most of your clothing from casual to dress.

Shoes, No you cannot just wear your sneakers to the wedding.

Class, no not ditching them, how to have some.

Men's health related issues from testicular cancer to prostate cancer.

How men show emotions, yes, they have more than just 3.

Apartments do not to look like a Comic Store: Tasteful Decorating

No, I'm not suggesting these because I'm a Christopher Lowell fan, but because these are things that took me time to learn from the time I was in college to now. I had to learn what worked for me.

Most women aren't worth the trouble. If they want to "play games" and "mind fuck" guys then let them do it to someone else.

And you can't say that guys never do the same thing to girls. It is dangerous to say that it is all their(women) fault when we(men) were the ones to teach them the game.

Because the way most people find this site is via the Top Boobies link on fark. That tends to skew the proportion of those that join the site to being mostly male. A number of the women on here were introduced by a significant other, and most of the male population isn't willing to show the site to a SO. That's why the male population vastly outnumbers the female population. The females, however, tend not to fall into the lurking population as easily as the males do, that's why they seem to be more prevalent than their numbers would show.

Just a few more thoughts,

If you can get over the "us vs. them" mentality, you begin to see that women are *gasp* people.

And as *people* you begin to see that they:

-sometimes have their shit together
-sometimes are fucked up
-sometimes are incredibly kind and loving
-sometimes are very selfish and petty

So forgive me if I rant just a little at the generalizations I see in this thread, because if you can't see that guys are the same way, you are deluding yourself.

So keep that in mind when you read the posts in Ladies Lounge and you can learn a lot about women and why we love them.

Thats one hell of a Generalization you just stated. Ask the ladies, they personally don't mind if we read as long as we don't talk. IF you've ever looked in there, then you'd realize there is A LOT of useful information for any guy. We always say we're confused about stuff.. well shit! That room is our "cheat sheet" if you will.
