ideas of beauty

well, it's been coming up frequently in the forums, so i decided to make a kind of catch-all thread: what, in general, is your idea of beauty? inner and outer, in men and in women? please don't reply with answers like "boobs, butt". be a little more specific.
in a guy, sexually, i prefer black men who are very lean, with dreadlocks, who don't wear jeans that begin at the knees.
i love sensual lips and unusual noses( ones with character, shall we say?)
i also like luxurious eyebrows, but not bushy.
in women, i find curvaceous yet slim the most beautiful body, and brown hair and eyes are the best. all descriptions previously for facial attributes apply. I really dislike large breasts, a c cup is the maximum i will find beautiful.
I also hate short legs in both men and women.
i don't know how much my ideas comply with the average standard of beauty, so i wanted other peoples' thoughts.

The first thing I notice is eyes-color, their intensity-blue eyes really get me going, specially if surrounded by dark lashes and brows.
Smile is second-the genuineness of a smile speaks volumes and it doesn't have to be one of perfect teeth, etc.
Thinking about what's attractive to me is actually quite hard to do; my dearest friend is, to me, freakin gorgeous and when I've shown others a photo, they remark about his handsomeness. But, to decipher why seems almost impossible to do. I know men who, when you describe their features, sound like mutants, but put together they make an attractive package. By the same token, someone could have everything considered perfect and look screwy.

Describing what I find to be attractive would take far too long and far too many words. I'm not attracted to only a certain type of woman, so it really is pointless for me to even try to describe what I find attractive.

That said, the quality of the woman's self is far more valuable to me than her looks. My time is far too valuable to be spent with a shitty person.

I couldn't choose one particular facial or body type. I find most women adorable to say the least, from all races and all sizes. Just no stick figures or 500 lbers. I find a woman who is independent, knows who she is and what she likes, very attractive. I prefer one who can be dominant in the bedroom, but also knows how to be sexy & demure, doesn't flaunt her sexuality. Of course a nice sweet smile goes a long way, but a genuinely honest woman, who has no hang ups about previous relationships, is beautiful beyond words. But very hard to find.

In the same vain as DaveMatrix, I, too, do not have a habitual preference for any one type of female. I find most all of them unique and beautiful in a way. I obviously would check to see if they had a nice body, or a cute and/or stunning face, but I find that most important of all is discovering a great personality within. that is what is most attractive.

What comes glowing out the eyes is most important to me. If nobody nice is at home in there, it doesn't matter how "universally" attractive they are.
I appreciate good teeth and characteristic noses. Toned bodies and positive attitudes. Open minds and a willingness to be in the moment. I see beauty almost everywhere I go.
(sorry, yelizaveta, dreadlocks are gross)

I don't have any isolated ideas about what is beautiful. It's a combination of factors that come together to make a person look beautiful to me. I've seen "beautiful" men and women who look completely ordinary to me. And I've seen those who are not so "beautiful" who I find to be irresistible. I dunno, can't do it.

it seems to me like everyone has this misconception that you can't wash dreadlocks. my bf has them and they alsways smell like shampoo, and they are regular in size and shape, nothing gross about 'em!

I AGREE! dreads do look disgusting on white people, haha... but on black people, that's an entirely different matter...

well, i'm not a big fan of of the process honkies have to go through to get "dreads." its just nasty ass shit, and they look stupid. my opinion. all you dreaded out bongo-playing white folk...well, i guess i'm kind of sorry or whatnot. by the same virtue, all the relaxer and shit black people have to use to get a decent ponytail, and not a rear-side mini fro ball, i also care not for. somethings a person can do, but it doesn't mean they should.

i actually agree with you on that too. i used to live with 17 black girls, and you would not believe what they go through for straight hair. the idea of sewing someone else's hair into your head just seems wierd to me too...but the amount of effort spent relaxing, straightening, keeping hair out of the rain, etc. by the majority of the girls in the dorm was shocking to me. i think they looked worlds better with a natural afro, too!

Having said that, the 20 year old dutch girl who lives across the street, has almost platinum blonde hair that has been put into dreadlocks that are down to the shoulder blades.

With her stunning blue eyes, and pale alabaster skin, she is both stunning and unique to look at.

well shit leto, there are exceptions to every rule bro...

i've seen some of that action too, and i have to say: well. ok then.

just like the older sister on the cosby show could have used a good rogering from el pigglet, but in general i'd rather the hair be left kinky.
