Help cure cancer with your computer or PS3
Hi, here's a program (Called Folding@Home) that helps researches at Stanford University study proteins. It runs on your PC or PS3 when it's idle, and sends the work to them.
For more info, here's a video clip: http://www.gamevideos.com/video/id/10200 And here's the Folding@Home website: http://folding.stanford.edu/

It seems rather like wanting to be an engineer, rather than wanting to design something - or wanting to be a writer, rather than wanting to write. It should be a by-product, not a thing in itself. Otherwise, it's just an ego trip." Roger Zelazny Last edited by 777; 03-25-2007 at 12:44 PM.. |
