These may not be inexplicable...sometimes it's a thin line.

But I think Colin Firth and Daniel Day Lewis are very sexy.

oh, and how can I forget the most formative crush of my youth, Tim Curry.

Ah yes, Mr. Darcy of course! I do think there's a magnetism about him, but he's not overtly sexy somehow.

I have to add Jack Black to my list.

Rachel Weisz. Whenever I talk about my future ex-wife everyone thinks I'm crazy. I think I understand why I think she is sexy, though... I like the smart, cute, feisty ones. But it's "strange" so I'll throw it in here anyway.

YES!!! Jeff Goldblum is so damn hot! In a geeky/genius sort of way! He also has the midas touch.

I really like Jim Rome from ESPN i.e. Rome is Burning, too. Kinda strange because he can be an arrogant ass oft times. But he's hot in a "take command" way.

Top of my list is: David Krumholtz from the TV show "Numb3rs"...he plays Charlie Eppes the math genious who solves all the crimes for his dorky brother. Love that smart geek like Jewish look! He's got a sweet side too...

Next is: Yep, Silent Bob aka Kevin Smith....too bad he's happily married. He's got that chubby huggable teddy bear look that makes him approachable.

Oh and Not to Forget: yournamehere of tfp Fame. He's really handsome in a distinct Hollywood handsome way. Talented & creative like no one else. Nice thick beard too....yum.

I don't find this in the least bit difficult to understand. She is my ideal of an ideal woman. She looks great, is upbeat, and seems to be fairly well rounded in her education. She turned down an easy career from her family and worked hard to reach the top in a career she chose because of her passion. Not to mention she likely has a great trust fund.

I also have to agree on the Sarah Silverman and girl from Mythbusters thing.

I could give a list of explicable sexy people, some of whom are on this board. Inexplicable, as of this morning, is more interesting, at least to me.

Candace Parker - I generally don't find athletes sexy while they're competing, but last night I had to shift uncomfortably in my chair when she put up 24 points and didn't play for over a quarter of the game. And looked great doing it.

Martha Stewart - I don't think she's physically attractive, but the way she's always in control and buttoned down makes her sexy in my mind.

Carol Marin - she can ask me tough questions any time!

How about Owen Wilson? he may be sexy to others also, but he's not really my usual type at all...
I don't usually go for caucasian features, so the issue is probably more that my tastes are unusual than that it's unusual to find Owen attractive.

Had to resurrect this thread because I just recalled a dream last night in which I had sex with Jeremy Irons. And, no, I haven't watched Damage recently.

And he was fucking hot.

Thanx Mixed, it felt too weird to resurrect my own thread. There have been so many people that I agree with and didn't think of (namely, Jeff Goldblum, if anyone care's, my favorite and slightly obscure film of his is "Mr. Frost").

MrSelfDestruct: No offense to anyone who finds her explicably sexy, but I agree with your comment about Giada De Laurentis. Not only do I think she has a big head, her grin that shows all of her teeth and gums as well as her high forehead and pinched nose turn me off and just bug me to no end (and I am a straight woman that does appreciate women sexually).

Hunnychile: I too think Jim Rome is hot (and yes, his attitude plays into it even though he can piss me off sometimes, though I like his attention to the NHL lately). He's not on anymore but my hubby got a little tiffed with how I drooled over Max Kellerman! I even have a little thing for "WillyBuns" (Michael Wilbon from "PTI").
