Nude Pictures...
Anybody here ever see a "nude picture?"
What does one look like? Auntphil and I were watching the news this morning when one of the talking heads came on and said the Florida police had arrested some teacher and coach at a local middle-school for having nude pictures of little boys on his computer. We looked at each other and simultaneously asked, "What does a 'nude picture' look like?" Auntphil and I are not prudes; we have seen pictures of naked people before and, dare i say, we have seen each other naked. However, we have never seen naked, nude, or whatever pictures of anybody. So, I ask you, has anyone seen a "nude picture," and, what does one look like?

Well, nude is the equivelant of naked or bare so to speak. So if the picture itself is nude, then wouldn't it basically be nothing? Hmmm I dare say you have a twister of a question here Unc! And I can't say I have ever seen a nude picture. But I've seen many, many pictures of nudes!

on a serious note, i have a BIG problem with newscasters, talking heads, whatever they need to be called, abusing the language that we are trying to teach our children. i hear this crap all the time and, every once in a while, they come up with something that really jacks my jaws. are pedophiles just looking at nude pictures? i really wonder what they look like. my mother took pictures of me and my sister in a laundry tub full of water in the back yard when we were 3 and 5 years old. we weren't wearing any clothes. was that a nude picture, or a picture of two nude children?
how complicated is this?

I wonder too uncle phil, if I had a file of those cute washtub, kitchen sink photos on my pc or photo album, I actually do have some of our daughter. But if I had 100's would that make me a pedophile in today's way of thinking?

If you wanted a serious answer to the question.... to me, a nude picture is anything that shows the body without clothes or in 'undergarments', the key point would be that it shows the sexualized parts of a man or woman.
my avatar is a nude image, I have a thong on, but technically, it's showing bare ass... hence.. i would consider it nude. I think one might get a lot of definitions on that question.

It really doesn't matter how you say it. It matters that people understand. And "nude pictures" is something pretty much everyone understands, don't you think? I'm gonna go with paulskinback here. Grammar nazi!
