A thanks to the Donors of TFP
From its explosive beginning, to its current steady rise, the TFP has been supported largely by donations from its members. When I first asked for donations, I never asked for anything more than a penny; only what people felt the TFP was worth to them. The response to that has been donations from $5 to $350. Over the last 5 years, some users have spoken by supporting a free site with more money than most subscription websites are worth.
Then there are those who support when it's difficult. "Sorry it's not a lot. Been unemployed for a while." "This is all a poor college student can afford." "Money's been tight, so this is all I could spare." I feel like this all should be applauded. The TFP means a lot to many people, and many people put their money where their mouth is. Even when it's not a lot, they do their best. And its all helped the TFP survive month after month. Thank you.

Halx, my donation was my way of saying thank you for allowing me to be a part of this site for the last 4 years. I know it wasn't a tremendous amount, certainly much less than what I feel this place is worth, and I wish it could have been more. However I wanted you to know that people appreciate your efforts.

I'm always glad to donate to the TFP. It's money well spent, given the amount of time I spend here.
