Call for Help: IRC on OS X - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

So, we've got a TFP Chat Guide which gives detailed instructions on using a variety of clients to connect to TFP's IRC chat. Problem is, I don't have a Mac so I can't create guides for Mac users!

I'm looking for guides to any of the following IRC apps:
X-Chat Aqua
Conversation
Colloquy
Snak
ircle

Look at the already posted guides in the TFP Chat Guide to get a general idea of how to write the guide. You want to make sure there are instructions on dowloading and installing the client, adding the Shadowfire network, and configuring it to automatically connect to Shadowfire and #tfp on startup, and identify itself to NickServ (if possible). Screenshots of setup screens are very useful, as well as screenshots of what the client looks like when everything is completed. I can host the screenshots.

Who can help out with this?

For those of you out there using Mac OS X, go to http://colloquy.info/downloads.html
in order to download Colloquy, my favorite IRC & SILC program for Mac.

After installing, just open the program, go to File, then New Connection,

and enter "irc.shadowfire.org" as the server. Put your username from TFP in (so we know who you are). Don't forget to put a check in the box marked "Remember this connection".

A cool window will open and all you have to do is click Join Room,

"#tfp" is the chat room.

Welcome to the chat!!!

If anyone else wants to share their favorite Mac IRC programs, feel free. I've found the Colloquy is by far the best, but I may not have seen everything.

Colloquy is awesome. It is my IRC client of choice on a Mac. Great job with directions, will!
