Did the gods smile on me this weekend, or what?
This has been one of the best weekends I've had in a long time. Here's why:
1) Friday night I tuned in to the Sci-Fi Channel just in time to see the first of three episodes of Special Unit 2. I loved this show back when it was originally on the air and I had no idea the Sci-Fi Channel was going to show start showing it on Friday nights. 2) Today I went to the mall to get my girlfriend her Valentine's Day and birthday presents. I got a good parking spot, the store had exactly what I wanted, and I didn't have to wait in line for a long time. 3) Earlier tonight was the first race of the NASCAR season. I'm happy that NASCAR is back and the race was good, but the finish kind of bummed me out. Elliott Sadler is my driver. He was running strong and probably would have finished no worse than seventh, but Dale Earnhardt Jr. bumped him (unintentionally) right before the finish line on the last lap and caused him to wreck. Oh well. At least this race doesn't actually count for the standings. 4) After the race ended, I channel-surfed over to Spike TV and discovered that there was several hours of UFC shows being aired. I love the UFC. 5) Tomorrow night there will be a new episode of Battlestar Galactica.

The bright side is that the best finish for a Toyota was 8th place.
