Hi everyone, I just signed up here just this week.

Sorry for being so lazy, but I wanted to ask if anyone could show me any particularly good threads that I should have a read of first, so I can get up to speed here?

This is giving me an idea that I should make a "Best Of" section.

Really, though, we're more of an interactive forum than a reading material. You gotta give to get.

I'm not angling for a commision, but I'm surprised you didn't take the cue to suggest that after looking around and finding that you like this place, a donation to help keep TFP running is always nice and highly appreciated so hit the "donate" button at the top of the front page.

Hey mikegladsz, what the majority of us do around here is hit the new post button, and have at it. While reading is important, being a part of the board yourself is just as important.

It depends on what your tastes are.

If you enjoy scientific discourse, I can recommend some excellent threads in Tilted Knowledge, which is now mostly inactive.

I can recommend some excellent theological threads. There was a good one here, not too long ago, that I would have continued but I kind of got tired of it and it really looked like people stopped listening to me (some people are just immune to logic and reason). However, it was pretty good for a while...

There have been some good computer threads I can recommend, as well.

So, if you can state your tastes, I can suggest a few threads, if you're really interested...
