Religions are basically trappings of morality. In the case of Wicca, we're looking at libertarianism, essentially.

Religions only really work today if they're a thousand years old. The "you can't do that" crowd is strong in the face of new things, but kinda wanes when it gets the "but we've always done it this way" from the religious types.

Time and validity are on the same line here.

No, it's not that. We just do a better job protecting our freedoms.

But seriously, the fact that the U.S. Armed Forces allowed the Wiccan symbol is a sign of acceptance in terms of freedom of religion and the acceptance of other belief systems. I'm quite happy to hear that they allow for such changes.

They are much more than that. At least, some religions are. (Then again, some religions are less than that. Or at least, some religions have little if anything to do with morality.)
