So it's Halloween, and I'm thinking about how it used to be when I was a kid. I LOVED the old cartoon shows they'd play around this holiday... "spooky" cartoons and whatnot. I just can't remember what any of them are called, so that I can look them up somehow. Of course, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" is a classic, but I'm wondering if anyone else remembers other classic cartoons, from the '80s and before? Any favorites out there? Damn I love this holiday.

Yes!! Disney had a great little compilation they would play, with the Magic Mirror hosting, hehe...

There was something else... The Legend of Sleepy Hollow cartoon? Dunno if that was Disney or something else, but I liked it too. The guy getting chased through the covered bridge by some flaming pumpkin head...

Yes, the Legend of Sleepy Hallow you mention was a Disney production.

I have always wanted to drive up to Sleep Hallow here in NY which is where the whole story is set. It's a popular haunt for Halloween.

Actually I did forget this year to buy it earlier, but I did just order the other day, Mad Monster Party a production done by the same people who did Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
