Beautiful 3-D wall murals

These are absolutely amazing!

Before photo - typical concrete & stucco facade

Preparing the canvas - by plastering the wall surface

The wall starts to take on a 3-dimensional appearance

Eric in his element, 30' off the ground. He does most of the artwork by himself & researches, paints and designs each project from scratch. His wife Kathy, also an artist, serves as project manager.

SIMPLY AMAZING, ISN'T IT ?

Got this in an email and had to share. It is lacking in details, like artist last name and such, but what the hell, they're beautiful. I would like to know the inspiration behind the liberty wall. Any ideas? No, I don't think it's the Statue of Liberty's gay lover.
It's hard to believe these are on flat walls. I have never seen anything 3-D this big.
Have any of you seen any this or any cool wall art? If so, where?

I agree. That is amazing. I wonder how many hours it takes to complete one of his 3-d walls. Very impressive.

I wonder how many people have now walked into a wall thinking it an opening :D

This reminds me of the guy who does the same sort of thing, only on the ground in chalk... I don't remember his name, but he's gotten more media attention over the years.

Thanks for sharing- those are AMAZING murals!

Those are great! I bet that the murals make all of those areas much more pleasant places in which to work.

Fabulous. I love seeing stuff like this. Just because a building is utilitarian doesn't mean it can't be a work of art-too many times architects and town planning boards lost sight of that, specially back in the 70's and 80's when the beauty of days past got torn down enmasse for the boxes that replaced them.
