Electric Shaver Recommendations?
I'm pretty sure some of you use electric shavers. Can somebody recommend a good one for around $70? Oh, and don't bring up razor shavers. I don't use them and don't plan on starting using them. Thanks.
For one of the most active forums on this board, this is pathetic.

I don't use an electric razor, so I didn't respond. Perhaps everyone else uses manual razors as well? Or, what have you liked and disliked about your razor? What kind of facial hair do you have? Are you shaving your face, your balls, or your legs?

I would have tried the 'Living' or the 'Knowledge' forum myself, but that's just me.
I have never used an electric shaver to any degree of success. Most just pull out the hair as you go across, which kinda hurts. Reguardless, you are gonna be spending $120-160 for a decent one.

I'm a pasty white dude with very dark brown/black facial hair that grows at an alarming rate. If I shave before work at 7:30, I already have small stubble by 4 pm or so.

I was a razor guy for most of the last 35 years since I thought I couldn't get a close enough shave with an electric ...and I'm a white dude with very light beard growth until I was well into my 20's. Even now in my 50's I only need to shave once every 24 hrs. I was converted to electric about five years ago when I got one for a present, so since then I've been using a Norelco triple head, not sure which model but not the most expensive one, it's one that is typically sold for just under $80. It is not the one you can use wet/dry. A few months ago the one I had for about 5 years stopped recharging properly, so I got a new version of it for that same price range. I'm sure it's not the best on the market, but good enough for my beard, it does not irritate me and it shaves me close enough.

I get mad razor burn on the front of my neck. Would anyone also recommend using an aftershave with an electric?

I have a norleco, and totally dislike it. The battery just doesn't hold a charge like it used to. I'm going to get a Braun, the self cleaning ones. But that Panasonic doesn't look too bad! I've been using electrics for about 12 years, and won't go back
As for shaving balls/shaft in no way will I use my electric. It hurts like all get out! |

I'm guessing there's some information in the uber-thread EVERYTHING ABOUT DICK SIZE, AND SHAVING **ANYWHERE**! - Tilted Forum Project. I'm not up to searching through it, through.

That monster of a thread is 27 pages long at 40 posts apiece. My shaver will ship here faster than I will be able to finish reading it.

I have the norelco with the lubricant pouch in the back, it's a wet dry and it's great! I was leary about the shaving lubricant stuff they provided with it, but a little goes a long way (2 boxes of refills has lasted me a year and a half) and it makes for a really close shave I never got before with an electric. Plus the ability to rinse it off rather than opening and cleaning it with a brush is nice.
