I think I'm going to have Mexican food for lunch. That's about it for me

So Mexico didn't pay their bills, France got pissed... there was a battle... Mexico won... France got more pissed than Mexico got their asses kicked...

Let's all drink tequilla!!! I think it's Jose Cuervo's excuse for a holiday...

When do we start celebrating every country's independance day? If we try, I'll bet we can get a holiday every day of the year, of course we'd have to rename the USA to something like France.

I just like to eat and drink. I never thought of it the way you said.

Cinco de Mayo is an excuse to think about certain things, eat good food and drink, and be merry, just like every other holiday.

As I understand it, there will be some major celebrating going on in "Little Mexico" down in South Omaha today. Music, native folk dancers, authentic Mexican food...that kind of thing. Not so much different from La Festa Italliana, The Greek Festival, and Germanfest. I think that ol' Bill may have to go watch some pretty senioritas twirl their skirts this evening. :thumbsup:

Its like a Hallmark Holiday, only for beer.

ya think people would actually drink Corona any other day of the year? :lol: beer isn't supposed to look like what you expell after you've have 6 beers :)

I think is time to call Mr. Hankey to once again explain the true spirit of any given celebration...

Cinco de Mayo and St. Patrick's Day really aren't all that different.

It took me years to get it into my head that there really are some people that truly like corned beef and cabbage. Bleeech.

I always buy five jars of Mayo and a big loaf of bread. Some thin-sliced luncheon meats and a tomato. I'm set.

I was thinking of going down to the free health clinic and screaming "La Migra!" "La Migra!"

I might wind up with some more sprinters for the local high school track team.
