I've noticed that some people have said if they have some at home they will smoke it. This is what has got me smoking "too" often... its too hard to get hold of when you want it, and I don't want to have to visit "drug dealers" to get some.
But when its around, I smoke it every day. If it isn't there I don't. Seems to be addictive/tempting when you can see it or know you have got some.

Hardly ever. Don't have any problem with it, and believe there's no reason for it to be illegal. Its just not something I seek out. If it happens to show up at a party, perhaps I'll give it another go ... but I do really enjoy a nice martini ....I do seek those out.

I haven't smoked in years. I quit smoking when I started becoming paranoid and couldn't get past it while high. I also gained some weight due to the large amounts of chips and salsa I ate along with all the ice cream and cookie dough.
However, I am all for the legalization, or at least decriminalization, of it.

Cannabis sativa, ah yes....gods wonderful gift to the fine earth we all live on. Look i dont judge anyone who applies it, (I use often then sometimes) but its also used in many different ways, mainly good purposes. So leagalize it! Its used in the medical field. Why not publicly?

I have been high every minute of the last 11 years. Give or take a few hours here and there. I smoke as soon as I wake up, before I get to work, at lunch if I can, as soon as I get to my car in the evenings, and three or four times after Im home. I have been arrested twice in Louisiana beacuse of their fascist laws. The next charge I get puts a felony on my record so I had to move. The judge told me that marijuana would ruin my life. I didnt say anything, but I make more money than she does, and if anyone is ruining my life it was her.

I'm a dedicated nonsmoker and have never smoked. But I might smoke pot at some point... probably for a similar reason that I'd drink. I certainly don't see anything wrong with other people killing their lungs as long as they don't affect others in any significant way while doing so.

I just recently quit smoking MJ because it was hindering my life. I had become dependant and severely addicted. Smoking nearly an eighth a day, 14 joints, for personal use only, and then smoking more whenever the oppurtunity arose while friends or people who smoked it as well were around. Normal daily life had become an incredibly difficult task where I would think about simple actions, such as left foot, right foot. The worse moment I will never forget is after smoking 6 joints I couldn't remember exactly how to make cereal. The toaster was even added into the equation and I wondered if it was supposed to be lightly toasted or very crispy. Thankfully I still had enough common sense not to pour milk into the toaster, and made the decision to go to sleep and try sobering up.
If anyone thinks that smoking marijuanna has any negative side effects, I could be the poster boy for it. Before smoking marijuanna daily I was very social and active in my lifestyle, but after I had developed severe anti-social tendecies and had lost over 45 lbs. The mental affects were even worse though. I had always been able to think very clearly and never let a thought pass by without analysing, questioning, reasoning, and taking into the accounts of others thoughts and feelings on the subject. I could spend two to three hours thinking about one subject with relative ease, and was never bored or had confused thoughts about what I was thinking. It was completely and entirely possible for me to have a full blown conversation with myself. even more incredible was I was able to memorize peoples basic reactions to conversation and predict to a very close extent how they would react in a conversation on a subject. This would allow me to plan out an entire conversation and the outcomes. I did use this to my advantage and usually got the results I was looking for. I saw this as a very powerful form of manipulation and I was not afraid to use it. Now I have a somewhat repititous conscienceness; thoughts will be repeated such as "put the coat on the rack", and even after the coat has been placed on the rack "put the coat on the rack" will still occur. The long-term effects of marijuanna have given me a lower appreciation of myself, and especially my intellect. My advice is smoke recreationally, but when you start to feel the effects of marijuanna creep into your normal life when you are sober stop immidiately to take the time to recover.

I've tried it about 6 times. First 3 or so, no effect at all, except burning lungs (never smoked anything in my life, bar one puff on a cigar), next one, was at a party and had been drinking. It didn't mix well. Next one, smoked a joint with a mate, then went to the arcade, and somehow my driving (in a video game) improved by a whole lot, very little feeling though.
But last time, about a week ago, just sitting around at my mates place, watching firefly, was amazing. My sense of time went wierd, my thought processes went in odd directions, general niceness. Must try it again.

Ahh...recently, I crashed at a friends, we played the drinking game Roxanne with Vodka (basically, in the Police song "Roxanne" every time he says the name Roxanne you drink), and finally decided to get some pot. I smoked two joints, and since I don't smoke often, I was out there..however, lucky for me, alcohol and MJ did mix pretty well that time (however in most cases, it's very bad for you), and my buddies put on a video of Stevie Ray Vaughn. I don't think I ever have appreciated music like I did right then. It was perfect, I was living the very essence of it. I rarely have had a more pleasurable high.

I thought I'd mentioned not having replies from people who are dead against smoking it?
Anywho - thanks for the link on it not being as carcinogenic etc but I was just wondering how often people smoke MJ who DO smoke it! At the moment, i'm pretty much every day btw. As i'm not working for another 2 weeks it has been up to 8 or so joints a day. I just love getting really stoned then going out shopping, or to get fried chicken etc, go to blockbuster hire some films games, etc etc Most of the time I don't even try to act sober (although thats a term i associate with drunkenness) and lots of people see my red eyes and smell the good stuff on the clothes. You both have that moment where without saying it you both know you smoke it up. sorry i'm ranting stoned again....
