Why does it have to be advice from a doctor? If it's not something well informed non doctors can answer you will probably need to go see one anyways because it will be too technical for even a doctor to communicate over the internet (or they may just need to physically see you.)
Just warning you, you probably won't find what youre looking for here. |

No, but I play one on the Internet...
Seriously though, I have to agree. If you have a question for a physician (which is the proper term to describe a medical doctor. There are lots of different doctors. Anyone with a PhD {Doctorate in Philosophy} can be called doctor...) then you need to get a hold of them through traditional channels. Can you imagine the liability of a physician giving medical advice over the internet? They would be a fool to provide such advice to you, or even to start the conversation in anything more than generalities; "People should get regular exercise and eat a healthy balanced diet." --> fine "Your cough could be a cold or a serious bronchial infection." --> Bad news. Fire away with your question on WebMD, Google, and other search engines. If you want advice AFTER you go to the doc and have a diagnosis and treatment, ask away!
