I saw this and thought it was totally charming: "15 New Words From the 1927 Webster's International Directory."
Among the new words back then: movie, jazz, airplane, nucleus, windshield. Wow. |
I wish bootleg hadn't got out of style. I really like that word. It's funny that the definition they use uninspected milk as something that was bootlegged. Does anyone actually bootleg milk anymore?

Unpasteurized and unhomogenized milk is still bootlegged. The only way to legally purchase it is to personally own the cow - in part or in whole (no pun intended).
It makes the best kefir. |
I did not realize diesel engines were so new.
