Not auto correct but I have interesting language issues from time to time down here. Recently I asked a young girl if she'd help me make my hose larger. This last summer I was invited to eat at a restaurant by the owners good friend. The man who owns place doesn't speak much English and my Spanish is far from precise. Anyway the owner, Juan, kept asking the staff to bring samples of all the different types of meals they serve. After tasting 3 or 4 I looked and small plate of meat covered in a black sauce was on the table in front of me, I took a bite and asked "What is this?" To which he responded "is donkey." I must have turned whiter then normal. I looked at him and said "donkey!" "Yea, you know donkey... like ka, ka, ka." At that point his daughter came running out of the kitchen yelling "it's turkey, it's turkey!" Juan said "turkey, donkey are the same thing right?" Umm, no.
