When Obama beats Palin in 2012, I hope he says, "It's a trick, get an ax."

Tom Foley, Republican candidate for governor, said to a crowd I was in with a straight face "I think we're starting to see that Reagan was right about lower taxes leading to increased revenue."

I double facepalmed, to the amusement of the media people surrounding me. Maybe I should be more professional at work, but maybe major parties should nominate candidates with at least a tenuous grasp on reality.
