It began as a graffiti-style project illustrating my first name (there is still a vague A-L-E-X pattern to it), and turned into a smorgasbord of 80s references.

The end result is so-so, but I was pleased at the method I figured out to turn two half-barrels into one whole barrel. I call patent dibs.

The house might not be in existence (anymore), but the legacy still lives on

Top Gear presenter, James May, built a new house in Surrey made entirely out of
Lego bricks. This two-story Lego palace, which resides in the middle of a vineyard,
has a working bathroom, and is covered inside and out with over 816 million Legos.


(Hm. So is it just over 3 million bricks, or does it actually near the astronomical figure
of near a billion LEGO bricks, in order to construct a house made solely of the stuff?)

The new, 1,205-piece Lego Space Shuttle set combines to form a 17.5-inches-tall
spacecraft, complete with retractable landing gear, detachable fuel tank, and
booster rockets. Included in the set are three minifigs (male and female astronauts
and a service crew member), a ground maintenance vehicle, and a launch pad for takeoffs.

The set will cost $100, and is expected to be released in June.

“an action adventure set in a LEGO world.” Dan Lin, who is currently producing
Sherlock Holmes and Robert Rodriguez’s new family film Shorts will produce the film under Lin Pictures.
