Good News / Bad News
SeeqPod is back.
(must have come back up in the last week, as I still had the site bookmarked, I checked it a few days ago, and it was 404'd.) But... it is wholly-changed from what we knew it as here on the TFP, a "shell" of it's former self, and absolutely no trace of the versatility and innovativeness that had us enamored. It looks to be nothing more than a "recommendation cloud" for like-minded sites that are still running and more successfully agregating music searches to the masses. Read the wikipedia article to better understand what has/ had happened to SeeqPod over the last year-and-a-half, and why it ultimately fell under the weight of titans.

At least they offer some alternatives, at the very least (that's all the site has been reduced to, links... that and yet another example of monopolistic Microsoft-owned puppet).
Other than that rolling cloud of "better-managed music sites that didn't become popular enough to be smacked down by the DMCA", yeah. SeeqPod is over. It's just a trove of bookmarks now; of which, I've latched onto grooveshark since before its fall, and its executed well enough, I suppose. The "Holla-Walla" and embed functions, though. I'll miss those the most.
