Commercials You Hate
Hello, I looked through the boards and couldn't find a similar thread, but if I missed it, mods, feel free to merge.
Seeing as how I can't post any links yet, I'll just say I hate that Jack in the Box commercial with the mini chicken sandwiches. The dancing irritates my eyeballs. |

I don't watch many commercials (thank you, tivo), but I hate the old dancing guy in the Six Flags commercials. |

That sandwich sounds kind of tasty, but I'm not going to encourage that sort of advertising. At least ENTERTAIN me if you want to sell me your crap!!

Geico's eyeball money commercials.. I love Flo's progressive commercials though. :)

Those stupid Sonic commercials, all of them. I loved Sonic's cheeseburgers, but because of the nature of the short dialogues between the people in their commercials, I've now associated eating there with stupidity and annoyance and I am loathe to go there.
Examples: If I could somehow convey to Sonic that their commercials are alienating me, and perhaps people like me, maybe the torture will end. It's odd to see advertising's affects in reverse. What a shame I'm so vulnerable to brand imaging. |
I actually like the Sonic ads.
Unfortunately, since they have done away with both the Island Fire burger and their dollar menu, Sonic can suck my dick. |

Wouldn't it be easier to name the few commercials that people don't hate? 99% of commercials are being written by people that HOPE to be the next Michael Bay (which to me is like hoping to be the next Jeffrey Dahmer or Sarah Palin), and include incredibly shallow and even bigoted stereotypes. They are a wasteland, the ultimate expression of soulless consumerism.

I despise the Hillshire Farms ad.
I hate it with a passion. I want to stab the GO MEAT! boys in the eye with a hot poker. And then pull a Matt Damon-Mooby attack on the Hillshire Farms executives. |

I hate anything with Billy Mays. A part of me is relieved that those commercials will be short lived now.

I very much dislike the new Dell commercial. It's not that it comes on with lights turning on and one of the guy gets up and puts on his hat while the other guy gets up beside him and buttons his overalls making it obvious what they were doing down there in the dark.. It's that damn lollipop song! Make it stop!
