Did they take into account the formation of the mountain ranges? How about sea/land levels throughout the history of the Earth? It would be harder to do, but it would be a cool if they did it that way.

how sad.. if there is a palin around 250 million years from now they won't be able to see russia from their house.

I want to see an ani of it on a sphere, sure I wouldn't be able to see all the angles, but the proportions would be a lot more "realistic"
