Interesting how if that happened today it would have been viral in minutes. Instead it took 25 years for me to see this for the first time.

And it didn't look to me that he knew he was burning.

I was thinking the same thing about it going viral.

As for the burning, I wouldn't expect that he would know that he was burning. A few seconds more and he would have clued in.

I know. There's no excuse. He got addicted to them because he used them as means of escape just like everyone else—alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs included.
