Why is it I like anime gore/violence but despise real life gore/violence?

Well because, anime gore/violence is anime and real life gore/violence, is well, real.

I like real gore more than anime gore. Mostly because it makes me thinking and wonder about what kind of person what the person? Why did they do that? How did this happen? What are the individual cells going through right now? etcetc


But.. I really hate gore.. anime gore is much easier to stand but the drawings have to be really good for me to be interested in it.


I'm not into gore in a sick way.. more of a fascination with the science of it all.
