::sigh::

I used to love the History Channel about a hundred years ago.

Also, when did A&E (Arts and Entertainment) become the home improvement channel?

Shouldn't there be a section for WWII specials?

This is fun! I made my own for Dr. Phil:

The little slice of red is the WWll specials. That is why the History Channel is also known as the Hitler Channel.

Yeah, I find it really sad that most of the programing on The Learning Channel is home improvement and Discovery is a joke.

Not anymore. They used to be about history, but nobody watched it so they decided to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Apparently, people still believe in Nostradamus' prophecies.

History International still does a lot of actual history. *shrug* I guess whatever gets the ratings.

What they don't realize is that it's self-sustaining. Feed people garbage like "chupacabra: fact or fiction?" or "ghosts: totally fucking maybe real" and they'll learn to expect it and love it. And even believe it.
