This is a bit that appear on the Canadian show The Rick Mercer Report (RMR), a popular show that often has politicians appear on it.
This episode featured Mississauga, Ontario, mayor Hazel McCallion, an 88-year-old who has served 11 consecutive terms. She's pretty awesome...have a look.
