I've always liked trains and model railroads. I was surfing around the net looking at some pretty spectacular layouts when it occured to me that the settings tend to be idyllic or historic countrysides. Where are gritty urban and industrial environments that surround us today?

That's pretty cool, I like it. I was just waiting for Bronx el to pass overhead all covered in graffiti.
