It's CGI. I don't see what's so great about it, but it's obviously CGI.

It looks like they used a model plane for the "accident." Right before the plane hits the ground, they digitally switch it to a real plane (The side of the wing looks directly flat at the camera, so you can't tell if in the final scene the wing's on or off).

My guess anyway.

It's a matter of personal preference I guess. This was ok, but I prefer the Obama McCain dance offf.
