wow...that would be scary and dangerous.
It reminds me of a few years ago when I saw one pretty close, but not nearly as powerful as the one in the vid. I was in a bank, a small new branch office that was on the edge of a large parking lot next to a shopping mall. The whole front wall of the bank was glass windows and as I was looking out, I suddenly see a tornado coming toward the bank. So I quickly tell everybody in the bank that they should move to the back of the bank to get as far away from the glass as possible and get on the floor. As I'm looking out I see the small tornado rip roofs off some of the nearby buildings and 4ft X 8 ft sections of plywood are flying through the air like paper, smashing into cars. Then when the tornado was about 100 ft. from us it just dissipated. |

Speaking of banks and tornadoes.....
This is a video taken from First State Bank in Parkersburg IA on Sunday May 25, 2008. It was an EF 5 tornado, winds of 205 mph. The video is from the security camera in the ATM. No one was in the house, luckily. |
