original SNL bailout skit
Here's the mysterious banned skit from last Saturday. NBC yanked it from their site, YouTube, and most everywhere they could. The edited version is available online... this is the original. Enjoy while it lasts...

This was banned? I'm pretty sure it aired because I've seen this already. Maybe it got yanked after the first airing?
I live in Canada, not sure if that matters...

So why was it banned?
Kinda boring. I quit half way.

The only thing I noticed that was edited was Darrell Hammond says "And thank you congressman Frank as well as many republicans for helping block congressional oversight about our corrupt activities"
I didn't think the skit was very funny, but I do find it funny how every one of these kids on the internet start yelling censorship. They have no idea how much of the stuff never makes it on air to begin with and their right to free speech and government censorship had nothing at all to do with it.

It's no big deal to me, but it's odd that so much was made over it. It's just a novelty that I happened to find. NBC was very protective about it.

Not to thread jack, but this discussion seems pretty much over. All this talk of NBC taking down skits though, reminded me of another amazing skit from this past week. I'm not sure if I'm alone here, but I LOVED 'Mark Wahlberg Talks To Animals'. One of the funniest skits I've seen in a very long time on that show.
