This has been mentioned before by dlish, but I think it deserves another. It's pretty crazy.

Now currently the world's tallest tower (currently at 688 m but expected to reach 800m!), even though it's still under construction:

thats right..the burj just became the centre of the universe.

just for those that dont know..the word 'burj' means 'tower' in arabic

i drive past it twice a day.....you cant really appreciate the building from up close...it doesnt really giive it justice until you leave the city. looking from the desert in, all you see is Burj Dubai. nothing else compares.

its also a sight if you're flying into Dubai.
