The whole bumper magnet thing is a joke. If you want to support the troops, mail over things they might need, like protective clothing or video games (contact xephres for that one).
The poop thing seems to be an un-clever way of pointing out the futility of having a support the troops bumper magnet. |

Personally, I don't find this humorous in the least. It seems blatantly obvious that the poop magnet was designed to poke fun at the various causes that sell magnets. Most obviously Support Our Troops. Of course, someone will buy it just because it says "poop" on it.

Still, the "support our troops" magnets don't actually send any money or supplies to the troops, so you're really just supporting business that plays on people sympathies and patriotism. Is that really something you want to support?

In fact, I'll do one better. There was a retail store, here in Omaha, whose name I will not mention. They had a huge banner displayed outside that read "We Support Our Troops". I inquired of the store manager just how, in fact, they were supporting the troops. He looked at me blankly and asked what I meant by that. I said that he had a sign out front that read "We Support Our Troops". How are you doing that? He replied that they were supporting the troops by having that sign. I really don't think that he ever got the point.

I wrote the date down. I'm pretty sure I'll forget why I wrote it down by tomorrow.
I personally find the "Support Our Poops" sticker hilarious! I feel about the same as anyone who puts a magnet/sticket on their car. I also don't need five flags flying off my car to announce my patriotism. I much prefer supporting our troops through resources like xephrys gamesforsoldiers, or even the USO. You don't know how much a big tittied bimbo walking around the base helps with morale until you actually see it happen.

Actually, if you purchase them at the local Army Recruiters office (though they are a little bit more expensive) a portion of the sales does go to the Family Readiness Group. I agree that if you buy the magnet for $1 at Walmart it isn't going to help anyone out besides the corporation. You have to know where you are buying them from is all. I think mine were $6-7 each but I know where the money is going.

I dislike bumper stickers in general, and ribbons are no different. In other words, see Will's post.

CRAP!
My friends came up with this one YEARS ago one night when we were all hanging out. I hope this IS them and they are making a few bucks by pointing out the irony Willravel has put so succinctly.
