I'd give her the toy. I don't think there's too much she's going to learn at 3 about not climbing into a toy machine unsupervized.

I wish we had audio. Still, pretty funny. I think I would've "confiscated" the toy and kept it as a souvenir, to give her a few years later.

She wouldn't get to keep the toy and she would be in major trouble. That said, I would have to share in that trouble for not keeping an eye on her.

I just love that the guy just keeps cleaning the windows, like this sort of thing happens all the time.

If I had a kid, he or she would be rotten. My wife and I have dogs, and we spoil the everliving shit out of them. One in particular, he's the youngest and the smartest, and we reward him anytime he does something innovative.

If she were my kid, I'd tell her sternly not to do it again, then chuckle to myself. I doubt I would go further than that. Now if she was a repeat offender, I'd probably take something she holds dear away for a day or two. I was beat to the point of bleeding when I was a child, so I tend to shy away from spanking unless it's a serious offense (and I don't hold this to be a serious offense).
