I'm not much into analyzing markets, but I won't be shocked if it gets that high. Thank goodness I don't drive much.
Spoke with my sister today and she mentioned how much cash she has saved on fuel alone since she started homeschooling her preschooler. (Had to pull him out of the class because the teacher would not be corrected when she was consistantly feeding him a snack that caused hives. I never would have thought to compare my fuel costs before and after).

i´m sure abaya or ktspktsp have already bought this up but the price of petrol here is the equivalent of $7.60USD a gallon....

dont be surprised if theres a noticeable drop in the per gallon price (say about 50 cents per) about a month before the election this fall...just like what happened before the last presidential election 4 years ago

It would be a change, but I think it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if we are able to work on becoming less dependent on oil.
http://online.wsj.com/public/article...2_1569_leftbox But it looks like the government might step in and put an end to the investment party that has been going on. (Who knows how that would happen under Bush/Cheney). But I think that getting the investors out of oil would help a lot. |
